Truth Recovery Independent Panel
adminThe Truth Recovery Independent Panel, who has been appointed by the Executive Office, have been carrying out work relating to Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses in Northern Ireland.
The current stage of the process relates to collecting testimony from people affected by issues relating to the institutions mentioned.
The Diocese of Dromore supports and encourages engagement with this vital process. Those impacted, whether directly or through family connections, are invited to share their stories in a safe and confidential environment.
By giving testimony, you can contribute to a fuller understanding of the past and help ensure that its lessons are not forgotten. The panel also assists those seeking access to personal records, including birth and adoption records.
